Hello friends + one tree hill fans

This year (Pandemic year of all times) my sister and I were able to adventure to places we never thought were possible. One of these places being Wilmington, NC. We were not able to adventure to every significant place from One Tree Hill, but we were able to go to the places we thought were some of the most important. Below is Lucas Scott's House

(1829 Wrightsville Avenue).

PEYTON SAWYER'S HOUSE

Next we were able to adventure to Peyton Sawyer's House which was super cute and located on the corner at 1901 Chestnut Street Wilmington NC, 28401.

I'm not going to lie, it was a little surreal to see one of my favorite films locations right in front of my eyes.

Brooke davis

I don't know about you guys but Brooke Davis was definitely a favorite character of mine. I'm not sure if it was because I envied her confidence or because of her growth throughout the entire show. Below is her house featured at: 2341 Tattersalls Drive Wilmington, NC 28401. I realize some people go up and ask, but personally we didn't want to be a bother. I'm pretty sure the neighbor knew what we were doing to. He didn't say anything much except for the "Hi." I guess we were a bit shy to ask (haha).

Karen's cafe

We all loved Karen's Cafe. Currently there's a Subway and also a cute little Coffee shop named: CLEAN JUICE. You should go check it out because their drinks are AMAZING!

THE BEACH HOUSE

LOCATION: 650 NEW INLET ROAD, NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH

ONE tree hill school

Okay guys so this one was tricky! Not only was this one filmed at Cape Fear Community College but we knew we were missing something. We drove a few blocks and found the other part where they filmed. The Main Location for the school was: 610 North Front Street Wilmington, NC 28401

Oh, and it was also a conference building. The Second Location was 610 North Front Street Wilmington, NC 28401 (The Schwartz Center).

The record store

Location: 8 Market Street Wilmington, NC 28401

This was where Chris worked, now known as the Black Cat Shoppe. The actually kept a few records (shown below) from the set and the prints were all made at this location.

TRIC

Okay guys. This was surreal. They still had the art on the windows. Unfortunately everything was blocked off, but someone seriously needs to go back and reopen it. It would be pretty sweet! There were so many signatures. Location: 101 Marstellar Street, Wilmington NC 28401

Keith's body shop

Location: 19 Covil Avenue Wilmington, NC 28401

Not going to lie..I totally pictured this in a very secluded spot. It wasn't (haha). I really couldn't get too close but here are a few shots from that day. This is now known as Performance Imports.

Grace methodist church

Location: 401 Grace Street Wilmington, NC 28401

This was the setting for Brooke and Julian's wedding. Unfortunately, because of Covid we could not go inside.

the naley bench

This was where Nathan gave Haley the Cracker Jack bracelet. It is located on the Wilmington Riverwalk which overlooks the Cape Fear River. This is also the location for the Burning Boat Festival.

One tree hill road

This was pretty cool to see! We drove past the building where they filmed a lot of the indoor scenes of One Tree Hill and were excited to see this road named after the show itself.

THE BRidge

Location 694 N 6th Str, Wilmington NC 28401

It was under construction when we arrived but check it out anyway! Maybe it's back and running!

Facts about one tree hill:

1. Moira Kelly was pregnant during Season 1
2. Chad Michael Murray almost played Nathan Scott
3. The Tree Hill Basketball Court was Michael Jordan's
4. Austin Nichols was Sophia Bush's Boyfriend when he ended up joining the show.
5. One Tree Hill was ALMOST set in Illinois.
6. Sophia Bush was rejected twice for the role of Brooke
7. Only one cast member was actually a teenager (James Lafferty)
8. Chad actually wasn't all that great at Basketball
9. Hilarie Burton almost lost her hair because of the show
10. Paul Johansson got accosted by a fan because of his character on the show
11. Hayley's Singing Storyline was not planned
12. Many of the cast members directed the show
13. Skills was cut from the show following an arrest
14. No one in the entire cast has ever been in every single episode
15. The show-runner of it all (Mark Schwahn) was accused of harrassment
